Without a doubt, one of my favorite sites is Mt. Arbel.
Mt. Arbel is a high mountain next to the see of Galilee. This
mountain is normally ignored by the tour groups because for years it was
a difficult climb, and only this past year was a road build allowing
busses to get up a significant part of the mountain.
We enjoyed a beautiful sunset at Mt. Arbel

Here we are climbing Mt. Arbel.

Here is the view from Mt. Arbel, where Jesus must have spent many nights
praying.

From this mountain Jesus could have seen Capernaum, the Sea of Galilee
and much of the northern Galilee area.

For years now there has only been one tree atop Mt. Arbel. It has
remained the same.

The Golden Gate or Eastern Gate also called the Gate Beautiful in the
Bible. It remains shut according to Ezekiel 44:1-2 awaiting
Messiahs return.

We also visited the ancient
city of Bet Shean, mentioned in the Bible as the place where the bodies
of King Saul and Jonathon were nailed to the wall. Bet Shean has a
tremendous amount of Roman ruins from the ancient city.

I had a chance to pray in the private Garden of Gethsemane next to the
one which contains the church of all nations. Notice the 2000 year old

I took a day off and spent most of it at the wailing wall. What a
holy place to pray.
